In a few minutes, you will be able to dig into your ARs and start your collection, but we need to get you set up before that. It takes approximately 10 minutes.

First, to set up the integration, you have to:

  • be an admin of your Netsuite platform

  • have created an Upflow platform. If you haven't one, you can create it from here

1. Ensure your platform is properly configured

We need to check that these features are activated within your Netsuite account to connect Upflow.

Search for Token-Based Authentication (We recommend searching on the page with the ctrl + F option)

Check it, agree to the SuiteCloud Terms of Service

Click Save at the bottom

2. Install Upflow bundle

Go to this page (

Search for Upflow

Click on Upflow Bundle (370051)

Click on Install

Click again on Install.

Once the installation is completed (this can take a few minutes). You'll know it's completed because there will be a green check on the right part of the screen.

  1. The first step is to assign the role named "Upflow User" to a user of your choice (here's How to assign a role in Netsuite?).

  2. Then, head over to this page (

  3. Click on create New Access Token, select Upflow integration.

  4. Select the User you previously assigned to the role named "Upflow User".

Note: The language of the user will need to be in English.

Once you've clicked on "Save", remember to keep this information as you'll need it during the Upflow onboarding flow.

3. Importing Netsuite Invoice PDF in Upflow

The objective of this step is to be able to import the invoices' PDF from Netsuite to Upflow. This step is about retrieving a script ID to add it into Upflow.

First thing is to enable "Client SuiteScript", "Server SuiteScript" and "Web services" if it's not the case already.

Once this is done, head over to

Search for customdeploy_upf_transaction_pdf

Click on View

Look for the URL and write down the script ID. In the example below, the scriptId is 673.

Once you have the script ID, you'll be able to add it during the Upflow onboarding flow (that field is an optional step during the onboarding flow but we highly recommend to do it). You can always add this script ID later in your settings.

How to set up a subsidiary?

  • If you want all subsidiaries to be on the same platform select which subsidiary you would like to connect with Upflow.

  • If you would like to have one platform per subsidiary, you will need to select the corresponding subsidiary for the first platform. Once done, you will have to create additional an additional Upflow platforms per subsidiary.

Once you've clicked on "Create platform", we'll start the sync and you'll be able to choose a slot with one of our team members or just click on "Skip this step". It can take up to a few hours to sync all your data.
